ADDRESS, 99 ESSEX ROAD, LONDON, N1 2SJ
What started as a pop-up store to showcase London’s most savy sustainable designers, has (due to high demand) turned into a permanent premise. I popped over to the boutique a couple of weeks ago to have browse through the designers they house, and see what all the fuss was about. I was met by a variety of styles; from clean cut work-wear overalls (which are incredibly flattering and went immediately on to my wish list), to feminine, corduroy smock dresses and every-day breton knits. This is a store that will attract a variety of shoppers. If you’re into modern-classic pieces that will stand the test of time in style and daily wear-and-tear, then P.I.C Style is the sustainable shop for you. An airy, crisp space filled with consciously curated labels and run by inspiring women.
P.I.C. STYLE HAVE TAILOR MADE THESE AMAZING ECO-FRIENDLY HACKNEY OVERALL’S. PERFECT FOR WORK AND PLAY AS THEY ARE A 2-IN-1 PIECE – YES! YOU CAN REMOVE THE TOP HALF TO WEAR THE TROUSERS AS AN EVERYDAY CULOTTE. VERSATILE GOODNESS.
VEJA TRAINERS ARE ANOTHER FAVOURITE ECO FRIENDLY BRAND OF MINE. MAINLY THEY SOURCE ALL OF THEIR RUBBER SOLES RESPONSIBLY FROM FAIR TRADE FARMERS IN THE AMAZON.
OPS & OPS SHOES ARE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SUSTAINABLE SHOE BRANDS (FULL STOP). THE PAIR I HAVE MY EYE ON THIS SEASON HAS TO BE THE METALLIC PAIR (TOP SHELF)
I AM SO IN LOVE WITH JUSTINE TABAK’S DRESSES I CANNOT TELL YOU! HER BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED STYLES COME IN VARIOUS COLOUR-WAYS AND MATERIALS – SUCH AS CORDUROY, SILK AND LININ. IT MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO PICK JUST ONE…!
